Also known as Bowencactus. I dive deep into software
development, reverse engineering, cybersecurity, and top-tier gaming.
This is my space to share the projects, guides, and organized chaos.
My Philosophy
I don’t overthink my work. I just do it. My
style is a direct reflection of my brain on audhd energy—hyper-focused,
jumping from topic to topic, and loving the details. If I see a problem,
I solve it. If I learn a trick, I share it. The content you’ll find
here is direct, honest, and chaotic in a good way. No filters, no flashy
intros, just me doing what I love.
What I’m Into
My interests are all over the place, but they all boil down to understanding how things work.
Dev & Reverse Engineering
I get a kick out of deconstructing complex
systems just to understand how they tick. My brain just starts
untangling it, thinking about how I can push it to do more. Then, I
build it back better.
Cybersecurity & Servers
This is my playground. I run a bunch of
servers—public and private—because I love the control and optimization
process. Sometimes that means tweaking configs until 3am, but that’s
part of the fun.
Hardcore Gaming
I don’t just play—I dissect. I go deep on Geometry Dash, Hypixel Skyblock, Destiny 2, Pokemon, and My Singing Monsters. I grind, strategize, and aim for top-tier performance.
My Projects & Content
This is where I build, experiment, and share. You’ll find tools, guides, and explorations. Click any project to learn more.
Collabs, discussions, sharing ideas—I’m always
down for it. If you’ve got something you’re curious about or just want
to nerd out over tech and games, hit me up.
This is my custom database project. I
built it from the ground up to experiment with data structures, API
design, and to have a flexible backend for various coding projects. It’s
a constant work-in-progress and a great learning tool.
My channel is the primary outlet for
everything I do. You’ll find coding tutorials, deep dives into game
mechanics, server setup guides, and much more. It’s easier for me to
explain things visually, so this is where I share my knowledge. No
fluff, just practical content.
My journey into cybersecurity
is driven by a desire to understand how systems can be broken in order
to build stronger, more resilient defenses. This is my playground for
ethical hacking, network analysis, and security research.
Kali Linux & Network Penetration
Kali Linux is my go-to toolkit.
I spend a lot of time in this environment, simulating attacks on my own
networks to identify vulnerabilities. This involves everything from
reconnaissance with Nmap and Wireshark to exploiting weaknesses in test
environments. My goal is always the same: find the hole before someone
else does. I document my processes, from initial foothold to privilege
escalation, to create a repeatable methodology for security audits.
Malware Analysis and Defense (Ethical Focus)
Understanding how malicious
software works is critical to stopping it. Rather than developing
harmful code, my focus is on dissecting it in a controlled sandbox
environment. I reverse-engineer malware samples to understand their
behavior, persistence mechanisms, and communication protocols. This
“offensive knowledge” is then used for defensive purposes—writing better
detection rules, developing hardening scripts, and understanding the
tactics that attackers use in the wild. **Note: My work is strictly for
educational and defensive purposes. I do not create or distribute
malicious code.**
Game Mechanic Guides
I don’t just play games, I
analyze them. Here you’ll find deep dives, strategies, and technical
breakdowns of the games I’m currently hyper-focused on.

Server Hosting Setups
I have a passion for building
and managing my own infrastructure. There’s something satisfying about
having complete control and optimizing systems for peak performance.
Here’s a look at my current setups.
CactusTech – Technical Minecraft Server
CactusTech is my massive,
technical Minecraft server where we push the limits of the game. It’s a
community-focused server for players who enjoy automation, complex
farms, and large-scale projects. If that sounds like your jam, join us
on Discord!
My main homelab is a large
experimental cluster built from 17 Dell EliteDesks. It’s an
unconventional setup, but it’s powerful and flexible. In total, it
provides **272GB of RAM** and **4352GB of storage**, which I use for
everything from game servers and VMs to running cybersecurity testbeds
and development environments.
Experimental Servers
I love pushing hardware to its
limits. One of my favorite ongoing projects is a fully-functional web
server running on an old **Redmi Note 11 Android phone**. It’s a
testament to how powerful modern mobile hardware is. I also run the
server that hosts this very website, configured and hardened from the
ground up.
Reverse Engineering Case Studies
For me, reverse engineering is
the ultimate puzzle. It’s the art of understanding a system without the
manual. I love the challenge of taking apart compiled code and closed
systems to see what makes them tick.
Project: Skylanders Imaginators Modding
One of my biggest passion
projects was the complete reverse engineering of *Skylanders:
Imaginators*. After countless hours of disassembly and analysis, I was
able to make the game fully moddable. This project involved deep dives
into the game’s file formats, memory structure, and rendering engine.
The result? The ability to edit core game files, inject custom content,
and even implement experimental features like **Ray Tracing and
graphical upscaling** that were never intended for the original game.
Other Game and Software Analysis
I’ve applied the same
principles to other games in the Skylanders series and various other
software. The process is always fascinating, whether it’s documenting an
undocumented API, understanding a proprietary network protocol, or
simply figuring out how a feature was implemented. You’ll find my notes,
tools, and documentation for these explorations here as they become
available.
